RECCO® – a safety plus on every hike
No mobile phone reception? Battery empty? A horror performance in an emergency in the mountains. With the RECCO® reflector on your backpack you can be found safely by rescue organisations at any time with the Recco® helicopter detector.
The RECCO® reflector is small, lightweight, requires no power, does not need to be activated and always works. Best of all, it’s attached to your hiking backpack, so you have it with you automatically.

Lightweight, abrasion-resistant ripstop fabric with woven diamond pattern. Stronger polyethylene warp and weft threads make this backpack fabric extremely tear and cut resistant.

Lightweight materials need thin fibres. Strong fabrics need high-strength fibres. So it makes sense to use 100 den Nylon fibre. Thanks to the PU-silicone coating, the tear resistance is increased by a further approx. 20%.
420 HD Nylon

The classic 420 den Nylon material has proved itself in the “high density” (HD) version as a good, very flexible basic material. The 420 den yarn gives it a very high tear resistance.
The design of the X Vent Zero carrying system features a massive reduction in materials which means it rests lightly on your back – ventilation doesn’t get any better! The system can also be pre-tensioned to your liking: Depending on your tour, the backpack can be secured close to your back for better load control in difficult or rough terrain.
